After is apprecnticeship as a chef in a Relais & Chateaux hotel, Matthias Wirth also wanted to get to know other areas of the hotel industry and so his path led him via the front office area and operational assistance at Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts to ultimately become HR manager at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. In addition to his affinity for figures, which is certainly not least due to his degree in economics, he has a very well-founded network within the hotel, catering and tourism industry. Matthias has been working as a recruitment consultant at Konen & Lorenzen Recruitment Consultants since August 2000. He became a partner in 2003 and took over as Managing Director in 2013. In March 2021, he also took over the management of Konen & Lorenzen Management & Real Estate Solutions as Managing Partner.
Ulrich Wilhelm has around 20 years of international, operational experience in the hotel industry and has worked in various management positions for numerous well-known companies in Europe, the USA and Russia. For 18 years, he has successfully placed executives in top positions at Konen & Lorenzen Recruitment Consultants, the leading recruitment consultancy for the hotel and catering industry, and has made a significant contribution to the international expansion of Konen & Lorenzen by establishing and expanding the branches in Dubai, Zurich and Austria. Since 2021, Wilhelm, who holds an MBA from the renowned NEOMA Business School, has also been Managing Director of Konen & Lorenzen Management & Real Estate Solutions with his expertise.
Since the start of Konen & Lorenzen Management & Real Estate Solutions, Timo Hofmann has been responsible for the operational business. He is responsible for company development and transaction consulting. After studying tourism management, Mr. Hofmann held various positions in the private hotel industry and has been advising hotels in various specialist areas since 2018.
Margaux Hansen joined the Konen & Lorenzen Management & Real Estate Solutions team in January 2024 as Assistant to the Management Board. Her journey at Konen & Lorenzen started in August 2023 when she joined Konen & Lorenzen Recruitment Consultants as a management assistant. Prior to this, she successfully completed her training as a hotel specialist at the Breidenbacher Hof in Düsseldorf, where she worked at the front office for a further year after completing her apprenticeship. Looking for a change, but without turning her back on the hotel industry, Margaux made the decision to join the Konen & Lorenzen team in the summer of 2023.
